The 5th and 6th Central Pay Commission has accepted the principal of granting the pay scale of Rs. 5000 – 8000 (Pre-revised) PB-2 with grade pay Rs. 4200 for those categories whose recruitment qualification is 10+3 years Diploma or graduation in science etc., the Govt. has accepted this recommendations and implemented the same.
However, in the case of certain paramedical staff like Pharmacist, Lab Technician etc., Even though the entry qualification for this categories is 10 + 2 + 2 Years Diploma they have been kept is a lower pay scale or Rs. 4500 – 7000 (pre-revised). This is an injustice and hence it is demanded that the pharmacist. Lab Technician etc with the above qualifications may also please be placed in the Pay Scale of Rs. 5000 – 8000 (Pre-revised) reivised PB-2 with grade pay Rs. 4200.
The Fast Track Committee which was appointed by Government of India to consider the demand of Pharmacists, were included. The report was to be submitted to the Government of India within three months. Now the committee had its first meeting on 15.1.2009 and second meeting held on 27.1.2009. Not yet decided. In the next meeting only consider Pharmacist issue and hope Defence Workers Federations (such as AIDEF, INDWF, BPMS) will get positive result for Pharmacists.

This is exactly what required. All other groups have get propotionate pay hike except the Pharmacists, lab technician etc. Cosider this as a fact and please look in to this matter seriously.
ReplyDeleteHow could the Confederation site named that only hope is left with INDWF, knowing that all the three Defence Federation,i.e. AIDEF etc. is fighting out with the Fast Track Commitee to accept the proposal of the Federations. Request avoid such baised statements.

WHY PHARMACISTS NOT GETTING CHARGED TO GET OUR RIGHT..
in 2nd and 3rd pay commission nurses are at lower pay scales and the get equal status in 4th pay commission and in 5th they get one scale hike and now in 6th pay commission they are two scales high. we are 10+2 with science background and they are from arts backgroud.

Hai I am Sandeep actually Doctors did not want the growth of Pharmacist because they know if Pharmacist will find the power then who will go near the Doctors .They never recomand any thing better for us.

Inhe to diagnose karna bhi sahi se nahi aata jo ki inka kaam hai.
Aur hamare kaam main taang adate hai medicines ke baare main.
Doctors purchase main kyun hote hain. Inhe malum hi kya hai medicines ke baare main.
Purchase main sirf pharmacist ko hona chahiye. Kya pharmacist jo ki medicine banata hai wo purchase karne ke eligible nahi hai.
Ye sab doctors ki milibhagat hai.

actually only one case of MCM(Master crafts man) was forwarded to fast track committee and committee already submits his report for the same. and govt implemented the same.
nothing is yet to be declared by the govt.
kindly form the association and put up ours case urgently to the high court. so that injustice may be quashed by the court

hi i am a graduate pharmacist and i love my profession and dear colleagues we should fight for the rights r else we will not get the benefits, y is that we r left out from the staff nurses they do the same work but hike in their pay if we dont fight we will nt get the benefits . so i humbly request all the total pharmacist community to join hands and get our benefits thanks ..........................
ReplyDeleteThe very first mistake that we have to accept is the designation
ReplyDeleteI feel it is better to redesignate the word Lab Technician to Bio-medical Scientist level 1 , 2,3, like that this will solve the designation variation among the existing laboratory technicians. The pay commission should clearly give a mention that laboratory tech/ Bio-medical Scientist with level 1 should necessrily possess a fixed qualifications. As mentioned by others the wages for those who has 10+2+2 should be placed in the grade pay of 2800 and those who possess graduation along Biomedical Sciences level 2 should start with a grade pay of 4200, and then we have to place our demand.
Despite of so many developements there are so many recruitment rules that vary from Inst to Instiute,
Laboratory technician should have a common qualification.
Pharmasists have got this PB2 .when will paramedical staff get PB2 grade pay

Defence Federation may please look into the similar problems faced by a few number of LABORATORY ASSISTANTS AND LABORATORY DEMONSTRATORS (less than 100) who have been fixed on a lower scale. Case has been forwarded already to all concerned, but without right people at right places nothing will work. Kindly just spend 5 minutes reading our problems you will see the glaring disparity.
